I’ve bought a hot tub/ swimming pool. What now?

Once you have made the decision to purchase a hot tub/ swimming pool, it is important to obtain the spec sheets from the supplier. This is important for the electrician to have while onsite to complete your quote. This allows the electrician to assess accurately the electrical needs and requirements for the installation.

Once the quote has been approved, Mr. Electric will coordinate with the customer to return to complete the electrical work required for the installation. Upon completion a final inspection will be needed to obtain a Certificate of Inspection.

It is very important to ensure that the person completing the installation of your equipment is a licensed contractor with the E.S.A. All of Mr. Electric’s electricians are licensed with the E.S.A. and insured.

Does the installation of a hot tub/ pool require an E.S.A. permit to be obtained?

Yes, because wiring is required to be run to the location of the hot tub/ pool, a permit will be required.

Does Mr. Electric repair hot tubs and/ or swimming pools?

Mr. Electric can repair the electrical wiring going to the hot tub and/ or swimming pool. However we do not repair the actual equipment (i.e. motor repairs, etc..)
